- Took photos of checkpoints and other small buildings simerlar to becher's water towers.
- His photos have a faded background effect.
- Photographs landscapes and buildings then removes the detail so only the structure remains.
- Graphic/Computer generated style images.
- Removes brand names and identifying features anywhere to be seen.
Thomas Ruff
- Liked pixelated images from the internet.
- Obscures 'ugly' parts of buildings and images which look clearer from a distance
